Updated: Jul 9, 2022

I look great.

Dear Spook W.

That's what Daughter #2 said after her overdose:

"I thew up so hard my lips were swollen for 3 days!"

"You would've like the way I looked for once."

Daughter #1 had nothing to say after her overdose because she died.

They say drugs are the #1 killer.

But I know now that I skipped the essentials and was a cruel parent.

I didn't mean to be mean--but I was.

I didn't have the skills, or even the inclination.

As with our own United States Congress,

and in the immortal words of Motorhead:

"I thought that I was living

Life the only way

But as I saw that Life

Was more than day-to-day I turned around

I read the writing on the wall.

I ain't no nice guy after all."

I wish I could make living amends.

In lieu of that, please spread the word.

We are rich and our kids get everything they ever wanted -- except our attention as parents.

Yours Truly,

Spook W.

(Like our Government, if you don't have time to read the whole thing--because you've got a thousand more pages to go through today--just read the underlined parts):

That is the most beautiful description of "What Happened" and "What Was It Like?" that I have read.

Read these last 2 pages in full.

Please.

It has a happy ending.
