The Welcome:
Welcome to The Wild Life Prevention and Recovery Centers. Wild Life PARCs do not award chips and we do not Sponsor. We encourage all team members to attend. We are learning together how to feed and serve each other by mastering ourselves. We do not require any age, name, rank nor length of sobriety nor clean time to begin serving, sharing, speaking, chairing or even to create your own Team Business Meeting Format.
The Purpose of The Wild Life PARC Team Business Meeting:
The purpose of this meeting is to prevent and solve problems as a team using critical thinking.
A Meeting Facilitator will read these instructions and will also go around the room and call on (unmute) participants.
The Meeting Facilitator at this time is ____________________________________________.
Everyone gets a turn in order practice (a) formulating his or her own opinion and (b) speaking it without interruption or judgment (“You stoopid!”).
This is often the first opportunity participants have had to think for themselves and/or speak their minors—so all minors (those under the age of 18) are required speak.
All others are encouraged to speak but may “pass” when called on.
You may also raise your hand to speak again if you would like, and the Meeting Facilitator will call on you (unmute you) in turn.
The Meeting Rules:
Eyes watching.
Ears listening.
Voices quiet.
Raise hands to speak.
Bodies still (step away from the chips, dip, and birthday cake and stop chewing for an hour).
No idle chatter.
No gossip.
No unsolicited advice.
No judgment.
No cursing.
No epithets.
No nudity.
No alcohol.
No smoking.
No vaping.
No drugging.
No sexing.
No texting.
No interrupting.
No cell phones (step away from your False Profit (un-earned income: interest, stocks…) for an hour—it’ll be disappearing anyway when we unplug the planet unless employees get a livable wage for all earned income).
No labels (“I’m alcoholic-addict” “I’m a greedy, selfish pig” or “I am an angry white woman.”
Step 6 Meditation: Safety First -- and Then Team Work!
I sometimes get disturbed in response to what I see, hear, smell, taste, feel, and think. I will practice letting go of my disturbances.
I sometimes misunderstand what I see, hear, smell, taste, feel, and think. I will practice letting go of my ignorance.
I sometimes do wrong in response to what I see, hear, smell, taste, feel, and think. I will practice letting go my wrongdoings.
