The Wild Life PARC Steps


Step 1: Consult trained experts for anonymous help with all Steps & Traditions (including revision) and be honest with them.


Step 2: How is my breathing?


Step 3: How is my posture?


Step 4: Where is my attention?


Step 5: How are my sense organs? These eyes, ears, nose, mouth, skin, and brain?


Step 6: How are my internal organs? This brain, heart, lungs, stomach, intestines, liver, kidneys, bladder, urethra, anus?


Step 7: What’s happening to my genitals?


Step 8: What am I thinking?


Step 9: Is it Pleasant, Unpleasant or Neutral?


Step 10: Am I causing myself, my family, and others’ families More Stress or More Joy?


Step 11: What can I do right now that will bring the Most Joy to myself, my family, and all others’ families?


These are only suggestions:

Work, Chores, Reflect, Restrain, U$E Properly, Endure, Avoid, Eliminate $omebody or $omething; or Cultivate Attention, Investigation, Energy, Joy, Concentration, Equanimity (ex: by doing housework well without complaining) or Tranquility.


Step 12: What can I do in the long term that will bring the Most Joy to myself, my family, and all others’ families?
